Recipe | "Snicker Turtles" by Sue Ready

Like poet Emily Dickinson who once said "I dwell in possibilities" I also imagine the possibilities with Snicker Turtles.

All you need is three, yes I said three, ingredients to make this delicious, delectable, chocolate caramel treat. A bag on Snicker Minis, pretzels, whole pecans and only 15 minutes of your time. What's not to like!

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag Fun Size Snickers (each bar cut in half) or 1 bag Snicker Minis (do not cut-32 come in a bag)
  • pretzels
  • pecans

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place a pretzel down and add one Snicker minis or half of a Fun Size Snicker Bar on top.
  • Bake for 4 minutes. Remove from oven and lightly press a whole pecan on top of chocolate.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set.

The possibilities now lie on how you package or serve them.
Here are some ideas to get you started...
