Tour of Historic Homes in Rockport-Fulton | December 1 & 2, 2018

The 2018 Rockport-Fulton Tour of Historic Homes will take place on Saturday, December 1 & Sunday, December 2 from 1- 5 PM both days. The tour features venues in Rockport and Fulton. The homes are at least 50 years old, and the docents in each house dress in vintage attire to match the era of the home!

Tickets ($15 for one, $25 for two) are available in advance online www.aransashistorycenter.org, at the R-F Chamber of Commerce, History Center on Sat. & Sun., or at any home during the Tour. On Saturday, December 1, docents in vintage costumes will stage a fashion show as part of the Tropical Christmas event hosted by the City of Rockport. Homes on Tour that change every year include:
  • Rooke/Broach House (1905) 1030 Allen St., Rockport 
  • Schulze House (1940) 823 N. Austin St., Rockport 
  • Jordan House (1953) 310 N. Burton St., Rockport
  • Wendell House (1964) 1130 E. Linden St. 
  • History Center (1890s) 801 E. Cedar St., Rockport.
  • Air Stream Retreat - 108 N. 2nd St. Fulton 
  • Fulton Schoolhouse (1886) 205 7th St., Fulton

Proceeds from the Tour will benefit the History Center which showcases the heritage of Aransas County with changing displays and monthly programs related to the exhibits. The Center also houses a Curation Center where artifacts from Aransas County may be deposited.
