The 2019 Business Survey for Aransas County business owners and local managers has been launched by the Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce. The survey is a follow-up to the impact assessment performed in early-2018 for local businesses in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. The goal is to continue monitoring needs, sentiments and expectations of our recovering business community which can lead to potential assistance solutions.

The 2019 Business Survey will remain open until Friday, March 8. You do not have to be a member of the Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce to participate. Our goal is to reach as many Aransas County businesses as possible.

“We are in a critical phase of recovery within our community and hope to get a real indication of how our businesses are doing. This data will direct our efforts to support local business,” said Glenn Gomez, Rural Business Developer of the Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce. “We especially thank Dr. Jim Lee of the South Texas Economic Development Center at Texas A&M Corpus Christi for the assistance with this survey,” added Gomez.

There are twenty-one questions requiring no more than 10 – 15 minutes to complete. Your input as a business owner or local manager is very important. The online survey four survey sections are Business Information, Hurricane Harvey Impact, Business Challenges and Looking Forward.
